This Privacy Policy is the basis on which Affinity Petcare, S.A., a company registered in Spain, with taxpayer ID No A-62.295.761 and whose registered office is at Parque de Oficinas St. Cugat Nord, Plaza Xavier Cugat, Edificio D, Planta 3ª, C.P. 08174, Sant Cugat del Vallés (Barcelona), Spain, the owner and operator of this website at www.affinity-ultima.com ("the Ultima™ website"), will process and use personal information it obtains from users.

Affinity Petcare, S.A. takes the protection of users’ personal data seriously and is committed to meeting its legal obligations relating to personal data. Affinity Petcare, S.A. will handle all personal data you provide to us in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.

Collection of Personal Data and Use Specification

In order to be able to participate in the games, competitions, promotions, etc. offered by Affinity Petcare, S.A. on the Ultima™ website, it is necessary to be registered and therefore obtain a “login” and “password”, to identify yourself each time you participate. The User’s Rights under the Data Protection Act 1998

Affinity Petcare, S.A. hereby notifies the user of his/her rights of access to a copy, rectification, objection and cancellation of the personal details collected by Affinity Petcare, S.A. under the Data Protection Act 1998 and other implementing regulations. These rights of access to a copy, rectification, objection and cancellation may be exercised by the user, and if appropriate, by his/her representatives, by means of a written and signed request (subject access request) sent to the following address: Parque de Oficinas St. Cugat Nord, Plaza Xavier Cugat, Edificio D, Planta 3ª, C.P. 08174, Sant Cugat del Vallés (Barcelona), Spain, Legal Department. This subject access request must contain the following information: name and surnames of the user, address for notification purposes, photocopy of the user’s personal identification (e.g. passport), and specific details of the request. In case of representation, the latter must be proven by means of a trustworthy document (e.g. power of attorney).

In the event of receipt of a subject access request, Affinity Petcare, S.A., in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998, may make a charge of £10 to the user to cover administrative costs associated with fulfilling the request, and reserves its rights to refuse any subject access request if permitted to do so under the statutory exemptions, but in such event Affinity Petcare, S.A. will provide the user with reasons for such refusal.

In any event, and in accordance with the Privacy and Electronic Communications (EC Directive) Regulations 2003 at the point of collection of the user’s personal details, users will be requested to give their express consent for Affinity Petcare, S.A. to use their personal details in order to send them information or advertisements by means of email or equivalent channels, such as SMS on mobile phones. This consent is subject always to the user’s right to opt out of such communications in the future at any time as provided below.

If the User were to subsequently want to revoke his/her consent given to receive commercial information via email or by any other similar or equivalent channel, he/she may communicate this decision by accessing the “register” section of Affinity Petcare, S.A.’s website.

Security Procedures and Reliance on Personal Details

Affinity Petcare, S.A. agrees to fulfil its obligations of confidentiality, secrecy and security of storage of personal details, and will adopt the measures necessary to avoid their alteration, loss, treatment or non-authorised access, in compliance with the laws in force at each moment including but not limited to the Data Protection Act 1998.
